Day 1

Meeting in Barnaul.

Transfer to Lake Teletskoye (410 km).

Boat trip around the Teletskoye Lake – the largest lake in Altai and one of the largest lakes in Russia. The maximum depth of the lake is about 330 meters. Local people called the lake Altyn-Kol, which means “Golden lake”. Many rivers and streams flow into the lake, but only one river – Biya – flows out.

Check-in in the hotel.

Visit to the Altai State Biosphere Reserve and Korbu Waterfall (12.5 meters high) and picturesque waterfall Chador.
Lunch in Russian style.

Waterfall Kishte, foreland Airan, Kamginskiy bay, and reserve village Yaylyu from the boat on the way back.
Visit to the Ethno Park in Artybash village, tasting of national cuisine.
Ascent to the mountain Kokuya by cable way.

Day 2

Excursion to the National Museum of the Altai Republic.The Museum has large ethnographic collections of Altaian indigenous people and also displays the unique artifact – the mummy of Princess of Ukok.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
Transfer to Sky-Blue Katun (60 km).
Check-in in the local hotel.
Excursion to Chemal - Hydro-Electric Power Station and Patmos Island – one of the most beautiful places in the Altai Mountains. The only way to the island is through the suspension bridge that connects rocks of the island with the rocks on the bank of the Katun river. There are a restored church commemorating St. John the Evangelist and the monastic cell of St. Makary Altaisky behind which you can see the rock with the indented image of Holy Mother. Another place of interest in Chemal is the Chemal Hydro-Electric Power Station. Walking there you can also see the sources of "live" and "dead" water nearby. In the summer time thrill-seekers are attracted by the "bungee jump".

Day 3

Transfer to Gorno-Altaisk (160 km).

Excursion to the maral breeding farm Karim (25 km), acquaintance with noble animals – marals and learning about healing properties of their horns.

Transfer to Chibit (300 km).

Lunch in Asian style.

Excursion along the Chuisky tract through the Kurai steppe. The history of the tract stretches back through centuries, when it was a pack road, a branch of the Great Silk Road, a "Chinese path". The Chuisky Tract is included in the TOP-10 of the most beautiful roads in the world according to National Geographic. On the way we cross one of the biggest passes – Chike-Taman Pass, which in Altaian language means ‘Straight foot’.

Visit to historical and cultural complex Chuy-Oozy. Dinner with degustation of traditional altaian cuisine: kaan – blood sausage, kurut – cheese, boorsak. Photostop in the Northern part of the Altai Geopark – the confluence of the rivers Chuya and Katun. Halt at Kalbak-Tash mountain area for viewing the petroglyphic drawings (about 500 complexes, more than 5 thousands pictures). They had been made during the period from the New Stone Age to Turkic Age. The monument is situated on the right bank of the river Chuya.

Excursion to Kizil-Chin, also called as Mars (190 km). On the way we will make a photo stop near the North-Chuysky Range, walk along the Martian mountains and the canyons of the Kyzyl-Chin Stream. The multi-colored clays on the surface create the sensation of another planet.

Lunch

Excursion to Geyser Lake - the unique one, rare in its beauty and cleanness. It does not freeze even in winter. It always looks like an "Earth eye" of an amazing turquoise color. On the mirror of the lake, you can see the streaks of round and oval shape, which are essentially a reflection of the processes occurring at the bottom of the lake, where the "geysers" spring to life, throwing out a mixture of bluish clay and sand.

Transfer to Karakol (170 km).

Excursion to «Uch-Enmek» Nature Park. This park includes natural, historical, cultural and sacral complex, located at the height of 890 – 2900m.

Visit to the Museum of Altai Culture and Life in Kuluda village. The exposition of the museum displays the Altai culture and its cosmogony.

Day 5

Transfer to Altaiskoye (170 km).

Visit to the arboretum "Kholmogorye" – a very popular park among eco-tourists.

Gastronomic show. All products have the status of "environmentally friendly". Fresh meat and fish are bought from farms at the Altai foothills.

Transfer to Belokurikha (50 km). The resort is known for its healing air and radon-containing springs.

Sightseeing excursion around the city.

Transfer to Novotyryshkino (20 km).

Accommodation in tourist complex.

BBQ-show.

Russian sauna in the complex Altai Sandunys. After a hot steam bath, you can plunge into the ice plunge tub, and then rejuvenate in a hot tub in a decoction of oregano, eucalyptus and chamomile.

Day 6

A visit to a small goat farm. Tasting gourmet goat soft cheeses with various additives, as well as white mold cheeses and a fruit trees ash, smoked "cheeses-snails" and homemade milk chocolates.
Denisov cave – the unique archeological monument of world importance, where the fossilized finger bone of unique human type was found.
Folk and gastronomic excursion «Fiancee «twisting off»».
A captivating visit to the local village with stepping into everyday routine and traditions of peasants who were back settlers. You can also try on traditional costumes of old-believers.
